SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS COMPLETED: The State Run, Punt, Pass competition has been completed and three of our local kids participated; PJ Norem, Sam Thielen, and Parker Krause while none of them placed we should be proud of them for making it to state.
PROJECTS ON TAP:
Toys for Tots - December 16th set up at 4:00PM, distribution from 5:30-7:00PM. Toys will be collected from November 25th to December 14th at Theisen's, Iowa Falls State Bank, and Wal-Mart.
Iowa Falls Strategic Plan - Our organization has been asked to help people in our community find volunteer opportunities. We will be creating and maintaining a pamphlet to distribute to new residents or anyone currently living here interested in finding somewhere to volunteer. If you would be interested in helping contact Brent at 648.3366.
Our first Ellsworth Scholarship winner was announced at our last meeting. She is a second year student from Aplington who is ultimately planning on getting her masters in psychology.
Social - Our next meeting will be December 18th at the Coffee Attic at 6:00PM. We will have a short business meeting and then are scheduled for a tasting and learning session of the different kinds of Coffee based drinks, bring a prospective member!
