SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS COMPLETED: In March our local basketball skills competition, supershooters was held and all of our participants advanced onto the regional competition. From there six went on to complete at the state competition in Cedar Falls.
A big thank you to our own Beirmeister, Kent Kelsey for showing us how he makes his tasty beer and it was mighty tasty beer!
PROJECTS ON TAP:
On May 3rd & 4th we will hold our annual sandbox fill. Chris Weaver is chairing the event. We will discuss the logistics further at our meeting in April.
May 13th golf tournament our 5th annual four person best shot golf tournament. Tony Howard and Jessie Weaver are heading up the effort and have gotten a lot accomplished in planning this event. We will need as much help as everyone can give as this is one of the two main sources of funds our group has during the year.
ECC scholarship forms are due on April 15th for any second year student. The scholarship committee will read through all of the applications and make their selection on our winner! |
