The Local Supershooters competition will be held in Iowa Falls February 13!
Boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 13 test their basketball shooting skills. Boys and girls will compete together in six age groups. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals , with the top finisher in each age group advancing to the Jaycee regional and possibly State competitions.

Hit, Run, & Throw is a baseball skills competition for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. The local competition is held at Legion Field. The winners of the competition are entered into Jaycee regional and state competitions. In 2000, the regional competition was held right here in Iowa Falls.

Rescheduled to Sunday, October 5th. Run, Punt, & Pass is a football skills competition for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. The top six finishers of each category of the competition are qualified to compete in the regional and state competitions. The competition is held at Cadet Field.
The Regional competition is held in Hampton at the Hampton - Dumont football field.
The Craft Fair is scheduled for October 18, 2003 at the High School GYM in Iowa Falls from 9:00A.M. until 3:30P.M.
Be prepared to be scared at the Haunted House! The 2003 haunted house is located on Rockslyvania. The doors will be open from 8:30 to 11:00P.M. on October 17,18 and 24,25th, on Halloween night the house will be open from 8:30 until 12:00.
The Iowa Falls Jaycees scholarships will be awarded to one local male and female graduating senior. The scholarships will be for $500.00 each. Any senior eligible to graduate in the spring semester who has applied to and/or been accepted to a college. Who is in good academic standing with good moral character may apply. The Iowa Falls Jaycees will participate with the US Marine Corps Reserves in this charitable activity again this year. We will be collecting any new unwrapped toy at various locations around town: Theisen's, Wal-Mart, Iowa Falls State Bank, and Pla-Mor Bowl. The collection points will accept donations beginning November 28 until December 12. Distribution of the toys to kids in need will be held at the Iowa Fall High School commons area on Monday December 15th from 5:30 - 7:00PM.
This is a new event for us. The first weekend of January we will be picking up used Christmas Trees for a free will donation inside the city limits of Iowa Falls.
